Consistency to Success
Peek into June’s Life
Meet June, our client focus for today.
June is a lot like many of us – she works full time, prepares meals for herself and her dad, and often struggles to stay consistent when she doesn’t see immediate results.
She’d prefer her photo not to be shared, so that’s fine.
A Long-term Relationship
I’ve had the privilege of working with June for a long time, across various online programs as she’s based at the opposite side of the city from me.
She’s so good at planning, so much so I’m quite jealous, but execution and sticking to those plans has always been a challenge for her.
However, things are changing for the better.
Her Transformation Journey
Since January, June has committed to her 3x workouts per week regimen. We set that intention in her one-to-one session, committed to certain days and she’s got a little tracker that she shades in when she’s done her workout.
She carries out 2x 30-minute weight sessions at home and attends a FitSteps class with her friend.
She’s using her family holiday in the summer as motivation to keep going.
The Key to Consistency
I believe that her accountability tracker, shading it every time she completes a workout, has made a big difference to her. It’s a simple but effective way to keep track of her progress and maintain consistency, which was once her nemesis.
Since January, she has managed to stick to her 3-workouts-per-week schedule, making this a significant win in her fitness journey. There have been days where she’s had to change form Monday to Tuesday due to work commitments and previously, she’d just skip it all together but not now; we’ve flipped her mindset to change days rather than not do it at all.
What does June say?
“Biggest wins from last month are consistent exercise, more reading instead of TV, and reduced screen-time.”
She also mentioned that she reached out when she was struggling, and we managed to turn things around.
As a result, she’s seen a shift on the scales and has even added in extra mini workouts off her own back.
The Facebook Community
Not only has June had this success with her exercise, but she’s also been an active participant in our Facebook group.
She shared this with them;
“Yesterday I was having a bad day and contacted Pam. I got help and encouragement and today back on track. I was all for giving up so it’s a total turnaround. If you feel like you’re pestering Pam or feel you’re failing and don’t want to tell her – please get in touch with her.”
A Proud Coach
As her coach, I am incredibly proud of June. She has undergone a complete mind-shift with exercise in the last few weeks. I am confident that she can continue on this path, and I am here to support her 100%.
She says, “The big thing for me is the accountability, so the program does this, and if having a bad day, you get the support.”If June’s story resonates with you and you’re wondering where you could be by summertime, fill in this form to get started. The planning, the accountability and the support will move you closer to where you want to be.
I have space for 4 ladies to jump onboard this month.
Look forward to hearing from you
