Sharon’s Transformation Story

Let me introduce you to Sharon. She’s just like many of us.
A busy mum of three kids, working four days a week, managing the family logistics, and wanting to feel good, lose weight, and tone up.

However, she’s a bit camera-shy, so you won’t find her pictures here. Some of you will know her from classes though.

I’ll also add that she is completely fine with me sharing her story.

How it started
Sharon has been coming to my classes since about 2012, on the lead-up to her wedding.

She’s always been physically active but hadn’t been consistent with other aspects of her wellness journey.

She’d have a cheat day, eat a chocolate bar on a Wednesday, and would feel like she had ruined everything so back to square one on Monday.

In June 2023, Sharon decided that enough was enough. She wanted to focus on herself and make some big changes.

Something was different, she was determined, and she was ready for a transformation.

Once she made up her mind, she reached out, we made a plan and she’s never looked back.

The Mindset Shift
Sharon says:

“The biggest win for me is my mindset. I’m now no longer focusing on exercising to lose weight. I’m doing it because I know it makes me feel good. Although doing a workout in the house can be a bit of an effort, I’m pushing myself because I know I’ll feel great afterwards.”

The Secret to Her Success?
What made the difference for Sharon?

She sought help.

She committed to making a change.

She did it.

And she stuck with it.

She has been utterly resilient and dedicated and I have never seen her like this in the 11 years I’ve known her.

Sharon’s Transformation
Now she says:

“If I have a day off, it no longer turns into a week or a month. It’s just one day. Same if I miss a workout, it’s not the end of the world. Another big change is consistency, I’m not dipping in and out. I’m always focused.”It brings me immense pride to share that Sharon has really turned this around in the last 7 months; she’s like a new person.

She gets compliments from people on things like how she looks, carries herself, and her glowing skin.

Sharon’s words when I asked her what she’d say to someone who was thinking about working with me:

” In 2 words – DO IT!. Pam is great at getting into the reasons why things aren’t working. She’s patient but is there to give you the bum kick you might need. The coaching has really helped me clear my mind of things that were blocking me from doing what I needed to do. After I processed this I started working out and eating better for my health. Pam has helped encourage me along the way, she’s on hand for advice when needed. I honestly don’t know how she runs it and runs a house too! “

It’s an honour and a privilege to coach everyone that comes through my doors. Especially when they say nice things like that too! 

The work pays off when you stick to it, you just need to start and start RIGHT!
