Do you want to get a head start on fat loss?
If you want to get a head start on your fat loss, do these 3 little things. You can establish these habits NOW, before the end of the year to make it easier to restart in 2024. Fat loss is not just about hitting the gym and following a strict diet. It’s about making small changes in your daily routine that can lead to big results. It’s mid-November, have you already had the thoughts like “aw what’s the point, I’ll wait till January” already? Don’t make this year the same as every other year.
Get curious . . . what would happen in the last 5 weeks of 2023 if you stuck to these 3 simple habits? Apart from boosting your energy and your confidence, you’d be establishing great practices to set the foundations for fat loss.
It doesn’t have to be big and bold; these 3 little things will impact you hugely.
1. Drink More Water This is basic but essential; drink more water. Hydration plays a crucial role in almost every bodily function, including digestion, nutrient absorption, and keeping your skin healthy. It also helps to suppress appetite and boost metabolism, which is beneficial if you are trying to lose body fat. So, make it a habit to carry a water bottle with you and sip from it throughout the day.
2. Get More Sleep I highly recommend you get more sleep. Rest is just as important as exercise when you’re aiming for fat loss. When you sleep, your body gets the chance to repair and build new muscle tissues that have been stressed during workouts. Lack of sleep can also affect your metabolism and hunger hormones, leading to increased appetite and weight gain. Therefore, aim for at least 7-9 hours of sleep a night to support your health and fitness goals.
3. Move Your Body Doing Something You Enjoy Exercise should not be a chore so move your body doing something you enjoy. If you enjoy what you’re doing, you’re more likely to stick with it. That could be dancing, hiking, cycling, or even gardening. As long as you’re moving and getting your heart rate up, you’re doing your body a world of good. Remember, the best workout is the one that happens!
